Academic Program

• To generate a pool of competent and committed health educators, the Institute has launched a one-year Bachelor of Health Education (BHE) program during the academic year - 2008-09. The program is affiliated to Osmania University (OU) and approved by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Faculty Development Program

• The European Commission (EC) under Institutional Cooperation Component (ICC) supported a short-term Faculty Development Program (FDP) for the faculty of IIHFW at the London School of Economics (LSE) and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSH&TM) – United Kingdom in 2003-04.
• The faculty also attend various training programs organized by national Institutes like NIHFW, NIN, ASCI, IIHMR, NIRD, and Dr. MCR HRD IAP, etc, to update their knowledge and skills from time to time.
