Objectives

• Train health manpower resources for better delivery of health care services.
• Conduct policy-relevant and empirical research studies on themes concerning population, health, nutrition and family welfare.
• Provide technical guidance to Regional Training Centers (RTCs) and District Training Teams (DTTs).
• Render advisory and consultancy services to State governments and other organisations involved in health policy planning and implementation of health services related to population, health, nutrition and family welfare.
