Genesis

• The IIHFW formerly known as SIHFW was established by GoAP with financial assistance from the WB under IIPP – VI to serve as an apex Institute for providing training to health personnel

• It was declared as an autonomous Institute and registered under the A.P. Registration of Society Act and started functioning from 1992.

• In 1994, the Institute shifted to its present sprawling campus located in Vengal Rao Nagar, Hyderabad, A.P, which is dotted with greenery and lush lawns.
