Information Education and Communication (IEC) Centre

This center houses IEC material developed by the Institute, as well as that procured from various other sources. The material is categorized and organized systematically to ensure easy access and retrieval.

A separate library consisting of audio and videocassettes on various topics related to health and family welfare is being established.

The video programs are based on formats such as quickies, skits, songs, spots and documentaries.

In addition, the center also developed a set of video training modules for medical and para-medical personnel to improve the quality of training at Regional Training Centers and District Training Centers.
